And in a moment, her happiness joined hands with her sadness as her hope and fear became one.

{Words swirl around in my head and I have no idea what use they are… ah, but I do love the way they sound.  I need to write… out loud.  It’s necessary for my survival.}

V: [as “The Count of Monte Cristo” ends] Did you like it? Evey Hammond: Yeah. But it made me feel sorry for Mercedes. V: Why? Evey Hammond: Because he cared more about revenge than he did about her.

{Yes.  He cared more about revenge than he did about her.}

I wish I was an artist.

Dark paintings don’t alarm people as much as dark words.

Love these letterpress cards by Lisa Krowinski. She’s teamed up with Jared Wunsch (www.dearblankpleaseblank.com) to print some of the quirky, lighter, hilarious Dear Blanks.

A stranger friend sent me the link to this today.  She said it might serve to encourage me and well, it did.  It’s lovely how God uses strangers. It makes the world feel smaller and…and friendlier, too.

I fell in love with photography with images like these. Fell in love with Paul Newman with images like these, as well, if I must say. The first time I saw “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” it was magic and moving. Great film. And great black and white image on film.  Ah, film…
I really, really need to start shooting film.

One of my favorite Anne-Julie Aubry pieces.
“The Art collector”

But there are so many, it definitely would be difficult to choose.

I love the art of Anne-Julie Aubry.  It’s whimsical, yet dark and soulful.  I definitely need to own a few of her pieces.  I guess it’s one way of having my mailbox arrive with a gift from France.

I had no idea this movie was so lovely. It is nothing as I expected and it is my current obsession.
